Edwin's First Book

We are delighted to announce that Edwin’s inaugural book, The Safekeeping dragon of St. Osmund’s is now published.  This is a delightful story about a young dragon from middle earth who gets lost one day and ends up in Salisbury, England.  Life changes when he meets one family who would help him…

This is a wonderful story and we are blessed that it has been beautifully illustrated by the artist, Annieb (who also did our wonderful logo).

Here is one of the beautiful illustrations

Set against the backdrop of Salisbury and inspired by the iconic Salisbury Cathedral, Edwin’s story follows a young dragon from Middle Earth who finds himself lost in the historic town. As he navigates his way through this strange new world, he encounters a local family who takes him under their wing, leading to a heartwarming adventure full of surprises and new friendships.

Edwin’s journey from idea to publication is a testament to his dedication and passion. With support from his mother, Charlie Coltman, and sister, Izzy, Edwin was involved in every step of the process—from working with the illustrator to fine-tuning the final manuscript. The result is a beautifully illustrated book that is sure to capture the hearts of readers young and old.

In Edwin’s own words: “I just wanted to share my dragon world. My ideas come when I am dreaming.”

The Safekeeping Dragon of St. Osmund’s is now available for purchase locally, along with a range of dragon-themed merchandise, including handmade dragon eggs crafted by Edwin and his family.

Edwin’s book is a delightful read, but also a celebration of local creativity and the magic that lies within every child’s imagination.
